For our annual photography exhibition we've asked Christiane Monarchi, the founding editor of Photomonitor, to curate Photo 50. Under the theme 'Gravitas', the Latin word associated with the transition of the ancient Roman youth from boyhood to adult life, the 50 works chosen by Monarchi explore fleeting moments of the lives of these adults-in-waiting, exploring a range of adolescent issues including obesity, role models and mental health.
