Summer 2016 saw the opening of The Hive at Kew Gardens, a 17-metre-tall open-air structure designed by UK-based artist Wolfgang Buttress. It is constructed from 170,000 parts, including thousands of pieces of aluminium that catch the sunlight. Illuminated by 1,000 LED lights, The Hive encapsulates the story of the honey bee and the important role of pollination in feeding the planet through sight and sound. Dinner at Nutbourne

Nutbourne is the exciting new venture of the Gladwin brothers, those three young talents behind Notting Hill's The Shed and Chelsea's Rabbit. Setting up in Battersea, their latest restaurant is an all-day brasserie and grill with a strong focus on local produce, much of which comes from the brothers' family farm. The interiors of the restaurant are inspired by the whimsical flowers and plants from Cornwall's Lost Gardens of Heligan and include a garden-inspired mural and a living wall that spans both the interior and exterior of the restaurant.
