Cairo Now! City Incomplete
Curated by Cairo-based architect, writer and researcher Mohamed Elshahed, this exhibition featuring over 65 Egyptian designers aims to capture the fragmentation and the incomplete aesthetic of Cairo's __design culture.
Destination at Downtown Design
This will showcase the best emerging talent from the design weeks of five different cities - Addis Ababa, Barcelona, Beirut, Reykjavík and Taipei.
Abwab
Six countries have been invited to curate an exhibit representing the best of their design talent. 'The Human Senses' is the theme.
Downtown Design Dubai (25th-28th October)

Moroso
The Italian furniture brand will create an exclusive seating area as well as present pieces that fuse architecture and interior design, including a collection by architect Daniel Libeskind.
Canvas Carpets and Cushions
Cecilia Setterdahl's passion for abstract art has found an outlet in this new collection. The pieces have been designed on canvas then hand-knotted into carpets and cushions in Afghanistan.
Pallavi Dean
Award-winning Dubai-based interior designer Pallavi Dean makes her product design debut with a range of furniture and accessories titled Tension. The creations are inspired by questions of self-identity and cultural tension.
